When you start booking your tickets online, It is very common that you will get confused after seeing the interface of irctc and your train ticket.

In this blog you are going to know about how you can check that your ticket is confirmed or not .

There are so many ways that you can check the confirmation of train ticket.

1. Paytm

If you have a paytm app in your mobile than it will be so easy for you to check the ticket online.

Search train on paytm and then find pnr check on the page 

Click on check pnr.

Enter your ten digits pnr sent to your mobile no.

What are the meaning of some terms on ticket

Cnf -  confirmed.

Every one knows about the confirmed ticket. It means you can travel with your booking without any issue.

On the right side of cnf

Some codes could be written.

It tells you about the coach and the seat's position

wl   -  waiting list.

In every train in india if your ticket is not confirmed, you will be in the waiting list

rac -  reservation against cancellation.

Reservation against cancellation is something better than wl

Because you will be getting half seat and if the another person cancels the ticket , your seat will ne confirmed. 

If you dont have paytm or ixigo app installed on your phone.

Just search check pnr status on any web browser and click on the first link.

Enter the pnr and check the ticket confirmation as I stated before

 

HOW TO DOWNLOAD TICKET ONLINE

If you want to download the electronic reservation sleep online than again you have to download paytm app.

Search train on paytm and then find pnr check on the page.

Click on check pnr.

Enter your ten digits pnr sent to your mobile no.

Click on download ticket.
